In celebration of Canada's 150, The Town of Aurora is pleased to announce the first Aurora's Youth Innovation Fair! Proudly sponsored by State Farm Insurance and the Rotary Club of Aurora, the fair will feature the most innovative ideas and inventions created by youth. This is an exciting opportunity for youth to engage in innovation and share their ideas to tackle real-world issues.

Taking place on November 15, 2017, the fair will offer the community a chance to experience the ideas first hand as youth showcase their inventions. Community and industry judges will review all projects and select category winners for each age group. Entries can include but are not limited to technology, science, performance, conservation, or building projects.

Awards will be given to the winners of each category which include:

• "Most Innovative"
• "Honorable Mention - Community Leadership"
• "Honorable Mention - Eco-Friendly"

Entering as an individual or as a group, youth will be assigned to one of the following age categories:

• Junior (ages 9 to 11 years)
• Intermediate (age 12 to 14 years)
• Senior (ages 15 to 17 years)
