Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking five suspects following a home invasion in the City of Markham.

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, at approximately 4:40 a.m., police responded to a residence in the area of Riverbend Road and Campbell Court for a report of a home invasion. Five suspects forced their way into the house through a rear glass door while the home owners were sleeping.

The suspects assaulted one victim with a weapon and demanded cash and jewelry. The suspects fled in the victim’s Lexus sedan.

The victim sustained minor injuries but was not transported to hospital.

All five suspects are described as wearing all black clothing with gloves and masks.

The investigation is ongoing.
