Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit (HUU) have charged three suspects in connection with a series of robberies targeting homes and jewelry stores across the Greater Toronto Area.
On Monday, June 23, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a commercial robbery in the area of Highway 7 and McCowan Road. According to the victim, three masked suspects carrying hammers approached the store. One suspect attempted to force entry but was unsuccessful. The group fled the scene on foot, followed closely by two additional suspects.
Through investigation, officers have identified and charged three suspects believed to be involved in multiple robberies across several jurisdictions in Ontario.
On July 9, 2025, two of the suspects were arrested by the Toronto Police Service in connection with an unrelated matter. Following their arrest, HUU executed a search warrant at a residence in Toronto, where a third suspect was taken into custody. Stolen property, a replica firearm and a number of hammers believed to have been used during the incidents were recovered.
Investigators are releasing images of the accused, as they believe the individuals may be connected to additional violent crimes. They are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact police.
