Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are appealing for witnesses and searching for two suspects after shots were fired at industrial units in the City of Markham.
On Friday, January 24, 2025, at approximately 4 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Denison Street and Don Park Road. Two suspects arrived in a dark coloured sedan and fired multiple shots at two units.
The units were unoccupied at the time and there were no injuries.
One suspect is described as male, short, wearing a dark-coloured jacket and a toque. There is no description available for the second suspect as he did not exit the vehicle.
Investigators believe the incident is targeted and are appealing to anyone who has not yet spoken to police to please come forward. Additionally, officers are seeking surveillance video or dashcam footage from the area at the time of the shooting.
