Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are appealing for witnesses and seeking suspects following a carjacking in the City of Markham.

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, at approximately 1:40 a.m., the victims returned home and parked their vehicle, an Audi R8, in the area of Worthing Avenue and Brimley Road. As the victims walked from their vehicle to their house, they were approached by two suspects who demanded the victim’s car keys.

One suspect fled in the victim’s Audi and the other fled in a white sport utility vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

Suspect #1 is described as male, white, with a heavy build.

Suspect #2 is described as male, Black, with a thin build.
